#2: The T82 is a license free PMR446 walkie talkie from Motorola, this product comes as part of a dual pack. The usual radio of choice for leisure users, the T82 is ideal for use in close range environments where talking over extended distance isn’t required. These devices are designed for easy pairing meaning that straight out of the case they are capable of operating together, even if you buy multiple sets, your T82 radios will all work together.
#3: This radio is built to IPX4 protection rating meaning that it is weather proof, the 4 rating means that it is protected against water splashes from all angles, this allowing for it to be used when raining or snowing. Should lighting conditions be poor in the environment you are in then the T82 has a built in LED torch, this activated by the press of a button allows for the user to see where they are whilst completing an activity.
#4: The T82 has a sleek design standing at 181mm in height, 57mm in width and 33mm in depth. On the front of the radio is a hidden display, this allows for the user to see information such as current battery life, current channel and whether the VOX function is currently activated. The channel selection knob is on top of the radio; this can select obviously the channel you want to be transmitting on alongside a 3.5mm jack port for attaching accessories. Underneath the screen on the face of the radio are six buttons, the most prominent of these being the volume controls and also a lock function to ensure that no accidental transmissions are made whilst the radio is in the users pocket or attached to a belt.
