Features two PCIe Gen 3 slots for installing 5/10/25GbE network cards, QM2 cards or Fibre Channel cards.
#5: Optimized SSD performance
Dual M.2 PCIe NVMe slots enable SSD caching or SSD storage pool for the system drive of QuTS hero.
#6: Virtual machines and containers

Powered by an Intel 8-core processor, the TS-855eU packs excellent performance and computing benefits to empower fast data access, backup/restoration, file server, and virtualization applications. Running the QTS operating system as standard, the TS-855eU can be switched to use the ZFS-based QuTS hero operating system based on your requirements. The TS-855eU will be available and supported by QNAP for an extended period (up to 2030) , ideal for businesses requiring matching NAS models deployed for long-term projects.
