Yeastar S300 gives midsize enterprises a customizable IP-PBX for controlling telephony for 300 users and 60 simultaneous calls, all from a single rack-mounted device. The Yeastar S-Series VoIP PBXs feature a modular design. For the S300 that means that you can install three expansion boards, choosing from two options. The first option lets you integrate digital telephones into your VoIP system using the EX30 Expansion Board, which has a single E1/T1/PRI port. The second option is the EX08 Expansion Board, which features eight RJ11 ports and four card slots for modules. Each EX08 board can take four of the following modules:

• S2 Module: 2 FXS (analog)
• O2 Module: 2 FXO (analog)
• SO Module: 1 FXS / 1FXO (analog)
• B2 Module: 2 BRI (digital)
• GSM Module: 1 GSM (cellular)
• 3G Module: 1 UMTS (cellular)

Note that the S300 only has six antenna sockets, so you can install a maximum of six GSM/3G cellular modules across the three expansion boards.

You can also add support for users and concurrent calls without getting another IP-PBX simply by installing a D30 Module, which is a digital signal processor (DSP) that adds support for 100 users and 30 concurrent calls. The S300 has two slots for D30 Modules, so you can expand the S300 to control an incredible 500 users.

How does Yeastar power all this? Using an industrial-grade Freescale Quad Core processor with TI DSP and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. Multicolor LED lights let you know at a glance what each RJ11 port is being used for and its status. The S300 runs SIP, giving you a vast selection of service providers to choose from. The PBX provides advanced telephony controls such as ring groups, video calls, call monitoring, automated attendants, fax to email, and many more. The system is simple to manage using a graphical UI that can be accessed anywhere through the web. BYOB offices will love the ability to bring mobile devices into the office's VoIP phone system using the Linkus Mobile Client for Android and iOS. The S300 includes an integrated firewall, as well as support for the secure TLS and SRTP transfer protocols. The S300 is a 1U rack-mounted device. You can add a 2.5" SATA HDD internally for extra storage.
