The ZK VF300 has a quick and easy enrollment procedure with a 200 face template capacity. Face verification time is under 1 second with a voice prompt to indicate a successful clocking. An integrated RFID reader is included to provide a back up method of enrolling employees who may struggle to be reliably recognised.The device has a 3.0 inch TFT touch screen to allow access to the menu to add employees or make configuration changes. A built in Ethernet port allows easy connection to a company network. A USB connection is also available for the upload or download of employee clockings to a USB flash drive.The terminal can communicate with our Focus Time & Attendance Software and clocking data is collected in the normal way. Biometric templates can be downloaded from the terminal and saved in the Focus database to be used as a backup and/or for propagating to other devices of the same type.Facial recognition has the benefit of being a contactless technology that helps to overcome some issues experienced with other biometric templates e.g. reading dirty fingers, worries about hygiene from physical contact, dusty environments. Face reader terminals work best in environments where direct sunlight or bright halogen lights are not shining directly at the device. It is recommended that this device is wall mounted at a height of 1.1 to 1.2 metres from the floor.
